Naoma Crabtree

March 11, 1934 — June 23, 2019

Naoma Wagner Crabtree, 85, formerly of Indian Wells Circle, died on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, June 26 at First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Doug Rowe. A private inurnment will be held the church columbarium.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

Mrs. Crabtree was born March 11, 1934, a daughter of Mamie Carden Wagner and Murphy T. Wagner. She was a graduate of Lees McRae College and spent her professional career as a medical records consultant for health care facilities. She married Herman Crabtree on April 20, 1956. She moved to Lexington in 1959 and lived there until moving to Piedmont Crossing in October 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Mark T. Crabtree, and a brother, M.T. Wagner, Jr.

Surviving are her husband, Herman Crabtree; her daughter, Anna C. Michael (Duff); her grandchildren, Sydnie Muessen (Jake), Julian C. Crabtree, Kacie M. Darrow (Brandon), Dannan A. Crabtree, and Landon Michael; her great-granddaughter, Anna Grace Muessen; her daughter-in-law, Anna Whitley Crabtree; and her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Music Fund, 310 S. Main Street, Lexington, NC 27272 or Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
