Naomi Medlin

Naomi Medlin, age 91 of Alston Brook Nursing Home formerly of Sunset Drive, Lexington passed away Monday night January 9, 2017 at Alston Brook.   Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2017 in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Edwin Chriscoe officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the service.   Naomi was born in Davidson County February 19, 1925 to Roy Murvin Rowe and Mary Ellen Walton Rowe. She was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lacy “P.D.” Medlin in 2010; a grandson, Daniel Peinado in 2008; sister, Kathleen Justice; brothers, Jason, R.B. and Clifton Rowe.   Surviving are her daughter, Martha Gale Bailey and husband Michael of Virginia Beach, Virginia; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Byrum and husband Todd of Suffolk, Virginia; grandson, Michael Bailey, Jr. and wife Kelly of Virginia Beach, Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Albany and Nathan; 4 great-great-grandchildren; Lorelei, Tucker, Kylie and Bristol; a sister, Mae Myers of Lexington.   Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, c/o Edwin Chriscoe, 450 Hillview Drive, Lexington, NC  27292 or a charity of your choice.
