Naomi Frank Parks

Naomi Frank Parks 90 of Lexington formerly of Parks Road passed away Thursday July 19, 2012 at Lexington Health Care after an extended illness. A Funeral service will be 4:00 pm Sunday July 22, 20112 at Bethany United Methodist Church where she was a member conducted by Rev. David Talbert and Larry Daniel with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 pm Sunday prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of her daughter, Janice Hedrick on Parks Road. Mrs. Parks was born December 15, 1921 in Davidson County, to Edward Lee Frank and Annie Wood Frank. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John E. Parks on July 10, 1985. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her sons, Daniel (Dan ) Winfred Parks and wife Marie , Paul Steven Parks and wife Mollie of Lexington and Jeff Parks and wife Alice of Golden, Colorado; daughters, Kaye Parks Daniel and husband Larry of Richfield and Janice Parks Hedrick of Lexington; grandchildren, Anna DeHart, Chris Hedrick, Cindy King, Thomas Hedrick, Tracy Shuping, Tammy Oliver and Strickland Parks. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren, Jacob Dehart , Andrew King, Bradley King, Evan King and Rebecca King; brothers, Harold Lee Frank of Mocksville, Archie William Frank and Roby Joe Frank both of Lexington; a sister, Melba Jean Frank of Lexington.
