Nathan Chad Canter, 30 of John Young Road passed away Sunday morning January 10 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Harris, Jr., Rev. T W Bailey and Rev. Harold Fletcher.
Nathan was born in Forsyth County on April 21, 1979 to Terry Lee and Phyllis Little Canter. He was employed with Food Lion and was of Baptist faith.
Surviving are his parents; two brothers, Brandon Canter of Lexington, Jason Canter of Midway; grandparents, Gene and Geraldine Canter, Tim and Eileen Myers, Everette and Linda Little all of Winston-Salem.
The family would like to thank the ICU at WFUBMC, Dr. Steve Zanders, Dr. Marc Gillis, Dr. Scott Bauer and the nurses on the 9th floor/Reynolds Tower.
There will be a visitation Tuesday, January 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the grandparents on 260 Dublin Drive.

There will be a blood drive in honor of Nathan on February 21st at Union Grove Baptist Church from 11:00 AM till 4:00 PM.
