Nathan Edgar Hancock

Nathan Edgar Hancock, age 44, 0f Trantham Drive, Lexington passed away Sunday (October 9, 2011) in Carroll County, VA.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the mountains of Virginia, that he loved so dearly.   There will be no public visitation.   Nathan was born in Bassett County, VA., March 4, 1967 to Harold Dean Hancock and Phyllis Roberts Hancock.  He was an employee of Jeld-Wen Doors in Linwood.   Surviving are; his wife, Tammy Hancock Groves of Lexington; parents, Harold and Phyllis Hancock of Lexington; step-daughter,  Elainie Groves of Lexington; step-son, Dylan Groves of Lexington; one sister, Judy Hepler of Lexington; brothers, Rodney and Allen Hancock of Lexington; several nieces and nephews.   To honor the memory of Nathan, memorials should be directed to a charity of choice.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
