Nell Colene Sprinkle

Nell Colene Spry Sprinkle, age 89, passed away on February 2, 2024, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. She was born on December 25, 1934, to Elmer William and Viola Mae Keaton Spry.

Nell was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, James Hampton Sprinkle, in 2010, and brothers Homer Lee Spry and William Spry.

A funeral service to honor Nell's life will be held on Friday, February 9th, at Spruce Street Baptist Church, at 1:00, with a visitation one hour prior and burial in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Winston Salem.  Nell enjoyed attending Spruce Street Baptist Church. Professionally, she dedicated her time and skills to AT&T as a phone assembler.

She is survived by her son, Mitchell Sprinkle (Judy), and daughter, Susan Todd (Michael), grandchildren, Mary Katie Hackett (Shawn), Morgan Riley Prince (Bradley), Jonathan Michael Todd (Sarah); and 8 great-children, Lane Jacob Prince, Kassidy Jade Hackett, Luke James Prince, Karrigan Faith Hackett, Leighton Ember Hackett, Caleb Daniel Todd, Trevor Shook, and Lilly Shook.

Memorials in honor of Nell may be made to Hinkle Hospice House or Gideons of Davidson County.
