Nellie Freedle Michael

Nellie Freedle Michael, age 92, of Arnold Road, Lexington passed away Sunday night, September 16, 2012 at Hinkle Hospice House.   Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Beulah United Church of Christ with Rev. Bryan Hatcher officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service.   Nellie was born in Davidson County, April 11, 1920 to Curtis Lee Freedle and Lillie Smith Freedle. She was a former employee of Burlington Mills and a member of Beulah United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Lawrence Michael in 1990; son, Kenneth Wayne Michael in 2011; one sister and three brothers.   Surviving are; daughter, Sylvia Pleasant and husband Billy of Lexington; daughter-in-law, Libby Michael of Welcome; grandchildren, Kenda Mitchum of High Point, Kelly Waddle and husband Rick of Chester, VA., Karri Gulledge of Welcome, Duff Michael and wife Anna, Tony Michael and wife Rhonda, Chris Michael and wife Stacie, Jody Michael and wife Jennifer all of Welcome; great-grandchildren, Jenna Nicholson and husband Danny Ray, Victoria Langevin, Dylan Gulledge, Kade Michael, Kara Michael, Sydnie Michael, Kacie Michael, Landon Michael, Riley Michael, Alden Michael, Griffin Michael, Keeli Michael, Levi Michael; step great-grandson, Hence Essick and wife Candace; step great-great-grandchildren, Dylan and Macy Essick; sister, Inez Luck of Archdale.
