Nellie Clodfelter Swicegood

Nellie Ruth Clodfelter Swicegood age 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Lexington Health Care.

A graveside service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Faith Church Cemetery conducted by Pastor Michael Gates. Mrs. Swicegood will lie in state Sunday 1:30-2:30 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel. The family will not be present.

Mrs. Swicegood was born April 21, 1932, in Davidson County to the late Roby Clodfelter and Flora Shoaf Clodfelter. She retired from Sarah Lee and was a past member of the Midway Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a Charter member of Faith Church and was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Swicegood and siblings, Philip Clodfelter, Belford Clodfelter (Vivian), Blanche Yokeley, Dorothy Berrier (Carl), Irene Scott (J.C.), Elsie Bowers (Gurlie) and Ruby Myers.

Surviving are many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her caregivers, Van and Linda Scott.
