Nettie James Foster

Nettie Jane James Foster, 76, of Hampton Road in Clemmons, passed away Sunday December 31, 2023 at Wake Forest Lexington Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held Thursday  January 4, 2024  from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at 1131 Williams Road, Advance NC.

Mrs. Foster was born January 20, 1947 in Davidson County to William Clyde James and Fallie Leigh Weaver James. Nettie was a member of Good Hope Church, a wonderful mother and grandmother and enjoyed being with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning her vegetables, and loved going to the beach.   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Clay Foster; three brothers, Arnold James, Ronald James and Leroy James, and one sister, Christabelle Byrd.

Surviving are one daughter, Elisa Long Stewart (Rickey Lee); one granddaughter, Falon Alexandra Hodges (Dustin); one sister, Opal James Fulk and three step daughters, Molly Mazance, Amy Taylor and Jill Stansell.
