Neva Morgan Alderman

Neva Morgan Alderman, 84 of Winston Salem, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2023, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. She was born on January 17, 1938, in Radford, Virginia to the late Carson Byrd Morgan Sr. and Fay Earls Morgan.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Carson Byrd Jr. of Radford, VA.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Lynn Nolan Alderman Sr. of the home, her daughter, Dee Armour (Bill) of Winston Salem, NC, two sons: Sonny Alderman (Stacy) and Scott Alderman (Kim) of Clemmons, NC and her grandchildren: Lyndsey Alderman, Ryan Alderman, Brett Alderman, Taylor Alderman and a great grandchild, Owen Alderman.  She is also survived by her sister in law, Shirley Morgan of Radford, VA.

Neva’s focus has always been her family and friends and was especially proud of her children and grandchildren.  She was a women of God and was a dedicated member of Mt Olivet Methodist Church.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 7, 2023 at 3:30 pm at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church and will be officiated by Pastor Donna Smith and Charlie Craver.  The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 pm prior to the service.

The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider The Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice.
