Nick Tussey

Katheryn "Nick" Louise Tussey, 89, of Britthaven of Davidson, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at the nursing home. There will be no funeral services. Miss Tussey was born Dec. 7, 1918, in Davidson County to Enoch Bud Tussey Sr. and Cora Tussey. She was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, drawing, watching birds and flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ruth Briggs; and a brother, Fred Tussey Sr. Surviving are three brothers, Frank Tussey, Buck Tussey and Enoch Tussey Jr., all of Lexington; two sisters, Nona Loman and Colleen Tussey, both of Lexington; and many nieces and nephews, particularly a special niece and caregiver, Connie Loman Wallace. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at their home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O. Box 1941, Lexington, NC 27293. Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
