Nina Sue Goldsmith Treadway, 90, of Lexington Health Care, formerly of Mill Street, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at the nursing home.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Paul Titis.
Mrs. Treadway was born June 27, 1917, in Madison County to Stephen and Betty Goldsmith. She was retired from Parkdale Mills and a member of First Alliance church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Treadway was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Moore Treadway Sr.
Surviving are sons, Walter Moore “Butch” Treadway Jr. and wife, Glenda, and Charles Stephen “Steve” Treadway and wife, Brenda, all of Lexington; daughter, Stella Jo Staton and husband, Tommy, of Lexington; grandchildren, Lisa Williams and husband, John, Keith Staton and wife, Lynn, Chris Treadway and wife, Marcie, Cindy Lindsley and husband, Jeff, and Chris Bradshaw; great-grandchildren, “Kit” Treadway, Zachary Treadway, Lauren Treadway, Madison Treadway, Christian Wall, Alicia Lindsley, Matthew Williams, and Casey Staton; and brothers, James Goldsmith of Waterloo, Il., and William Goldsmith also of Illinois.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
