Nishant Niranjan Patel

Nishant was born on May 12, 1982, in Rockford, Illinois to Sudha and Niranjan Patel. A 23-year resident of Lexington, NC, he spent this childhood growing up in Danville, Virginia. After attending George Washington Highschool, Nishant graduated from Highpoint University in North Carolina with a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance. Always sharp with great business acumen, he spent many years working at his family business, finding creative ways to build up and maintain clientele. Nishant also spent time working in business in both the greater Washington, DC area, as well as in Raleigh, NC. His favorite past time was playing golf and spending time with his many cousins. Nishant was a friend to many and a strong supporter of local businesses in the Lexington area, his favorite being the local barbeque establishments. Nishant passed in his sleep on Monday, May 29th, 2023, at his home.

He is survived by his loving parents, Sudha and Niranjan, his paternal grandparents, Gangaben and Ranchhodjibhai and his maternal grandmother Shantiben.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
