Noah Stanley

Noah Stanley, age 75 of Winston Salem passed away March 2nd 2017 at his home.   A funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Sunday, March 19th 2017 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Pastors Ken Harris, T. W. Bailey and Dr. Harold Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm prior to the service.   Noah was born February 5th 1942 in Surry County to Rufus Jackson Stanley and Bertha Barker Stanley. He was a faithful member of Union Grove Baptist Church and had retired from Roadway Express Trucking Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Lucille Burgess, Frances Sneed, Erlene Sizemore, Glenda Mills.   Surviving are his wife Sandra Tatum Stanley, son; Keith Stanley (Doris), daughters; Jackie Essick (Phillip), Kim Canter (Daren) and Beverly Meadows (Michael), sisters; Libby Hiatt,  Wanda Law, eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
