Noel Hewitt Brinkley

Noel Hewitt Brinkley, 81 of Numa Byerly Road, Lexington, NC passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his home.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 3 ^rd at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Bynum Orr officiating.  Visitation will be held following the service from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the home located at 620 Numa Byerly Road in Lexington.

Mr. Brinkley was born December 25, 1938 in Trona, California to John Lee Brinkley and Dorothy Lois Hewitt Brinkley, who both preceded him in death.  He retired as a furniture manufacturing executive.  He was a student of History and Biblical studies and enjoyed Geology as a life-long hobby.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Barbara Mize Brinkley, of the home; two sons, Jeffery Brinkley of Long Beach, CA and Joel Brinkley and wife Wendy of Lexington.  He is survived by one brother, John Brinkley, Jr. and wife Betty of New Bern, NC, and deceased brother and sister, Gurney Brinkley and Betty Rose Fanelli of Sligo, Pennsylvania.
