Nola Baker Leonard, 74, of Arbor Drive, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at her home.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Pilgrim Reformed Church Cemetery with the Rev. Judy Billings officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends following the service at the church fellowship.
Nola was born in Pine Mountain, Kentucky, to Henry R. Baker and Katherine Miniard Baker. She was retired from Thomasville Furniture Factory Outlet.
She was a member of St. Timothy’s United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are five sons, Joel A. Leonard of Asheboro, Lorin Leonard of Winston-Salem, Dr. Andre Leonard and his wife, Angela, of Wilmington, and Tim Leonard and Todd Leonard, both of Huntersville; a daughter, Cheri Leonard-Rabbani and her husband, Nabil, of San Jose, CA.; a brother, Hank Baker and wife Gene of Hendersonville, TN; seven grandchildren, Amanda Leonard of Greensboro, Baker Leonard of Winston-Salem, Allison and Jenna Rabbani of San Jose, CA, and Waverly, Manly and Silas Leonard, all of Wilmington; and nine nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 300, Memphis, TN 38148-0552.
