Nona Rea Tussey Loman, 94, of Tussey Avenue, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Hinkle Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will however receive friends starting at 5 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010 at the home on Tussey Avenue.
Mrs. Loman was born December 3, 1915, in Davidson County, to Enoch David Tussey Sr. and Cora Sain Tussey. She was formerly employed at Lexington Chair Company and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Webster Loman; brothers, , Fred Tussey and Frank Tussey; and sisters, Ruth Briggs, Katheryn Tussey, and Colleen Tussey.
Surviving are a daughter, Connie Wallace of Lexington; two grandchildren, Allen Tysinger and wife, Lori, of Midway, and Crystal Spainhour and fiancé, Chris Freeman, of Reeds; great-grandchildren, Ali Spainhour, Corbin Spainhour, Austin Tysinger, and Sarah Tysinger; and brothers, Buck Ivy Tussey and Enoch David Tussey Jr., both of Lexington.
