Nora Myers Boyd

Nora Myers Boyd, 91, of Concrete Works Road, Winston-Salem, died Saturday afternoon, March 24, 2007, in Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM MOnday, March 26 at Bethany United Church of Christ conducted by Rev. Jay Whitley and Rev. Ron Wood. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Boyd wasa born in 1915 in Wilkes county to Clinton and Toy Ann West Myers. She retired from PH Hanes Knitting. She was preceded in death by her husband C. L. Boyd and a brother David Myers and sister Allee Bennett. She is survived by sons, Jimmy Boyd and wife Lou of the home, Charles Boyd and wife Joan of Pfafftown. By daughters, Bonnie Messick and husband Jim and Betsy Mendenahll all of Winston-Salem. 11 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren also survive.
