Nora Murphy

Nora Patricia Bryne Murphy, 84, of Willowbrook Circle, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at her home. A funeral will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home by Dr. David Kolb. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, N.J. Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mrs. Murphy was born May 15, 1929, in Hudson County, N.J., to Joseph and Margaret Walsh Bryne. She was retired from General Foods and a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Francis Murphy; brother Austin Bryne; and sister Mary Iannaccone. Surviving are son Patrick Murphy and wife Allison of Lexington; daughter Margaret Murphy of Greensboro; stepson James Murphy of New Jersey; grandchildren Gina Hill, Madison Murphy, Matthew, Keith and Steven Moore and Angela, Megan, Anthony, Michael and Marie Klebsis; seven great-grandchildren; and sister Eleanor Cierco of New Jersey.
