Norma Louise Turner Brown

Norma Louise Turner Brown, age, 84, Lexington, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, December 9, 2023, after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Craig Barnhill officiating.

The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 12:30 until 1:30 pm Wednesday prior to the service.

Norma was born in Gordon County, GA on May 15, 1939, to the late James Thomas Turner and Katherine Louise Rogers Turner. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She was a graduate of Cool Springs High School, and she attended Isothermal Business College in Rutherfordton, NC. She was a retired executive secretary at PPG in Lexington, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Joe E. Brown and her sister, Donna Marie Turner Melton of Chesnee, SC.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Stephanie B Brown of Greensboro, one son, W. Travis Brown of Lexington, three sisters, Wanda Hayes (Roy) of Moore, SC, Linda Tisdale (Carroll) of Spartanburg, SC and Angela Crumpler of Burlington, NC.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all of her caregivers, for the time and love they gave her.
