Norma Beeson Day

Norma Beeson Day passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 after a long illness. Norma was born July 13, 1938 in Davidson County to the late Sam and Gladys Beeson. Many people have been touched by her generous, loving heart. She was a great cook, a loving wife and a great mother and grandmother. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard “Dick” Day; two sons, Michael and wife Debra and David and wife Kerry; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Bethesda United Methodist Church with the Revs. Danny Miller and Doug Hochmuth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 2922 Bethesda Road, Lexington, NC 27295 and Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
