Norma Jeanne Loomis

Norma Jeanne Dawson Loomis, 97, of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Hospice of Davidson County.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Loomis was born November 4, 1925, in Diamond, Ohio, to Dwight E. Dawson and Burdella M. Ohl Dawson. She loved spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Loomis.

Surviving are three sons, Bruce Ruggles (Cindy) of Raleigh, Rick Loomis (Chris) of Ohio, and Dan Loomis of Ohio; two daughters, Renee Wirth (Kevin) of Randleman, and Cindy Maupin of Lexington; three grandchildren, James Wirth of Randleman, Lisa Speicher (Peter) of Germany, and Ricky Powers (Jeanneta) of Ohio; and two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Speicher of Germany, and Mark Speicher of Germany.
