Norman Paul Bell, 82, of Sweetbriar Drive, died Friday, October 10, 2008, following a brief illness.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Eric Disher. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Bell was born October 5, 1926, in Shelbyville, In., to Philip W. Bell and May B. Bell. He was a retired Superintendent of the forming department at PPG. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and is a member of American Legion Post 8. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Bell.
Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Jane Potter Bell; sons, Nelson Bell, Allen Bell and wife, Jamie, and Roger Bell and wife, Annette, all of Lexington; daughters, Paula Moseley and husband, Chris, of Huntersville, and Linda Bell Roozen of Lexington, Ky.; grandchildren, Carrie Taylor, Nicholas Bell, Morgan Bell, Brittany Bell, McKay Roozen, and Ella Moseley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
