Normand Joseph Gregoire

Normand Joseph Gregoire, age 74 of West Center Street Ext. Lexington passed away Saturday, Septmeber 8, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Pauls Chapel Evangelical and Reformed Church, where he was a member with Rev. Aaron Long officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday night.

Normand was born in Worcester County, MA on April 7, 1944 to Armand Gregoire and Jeanette Roy Gregoire. He was a retired truck driver for Friendly Ice Cream; a member of the Masonic Lodge in Massachusetts and served in the United States National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Koontz Gregoire of the home; daughter, April Laviolette (Peter) of Lexington; sons, Raymond Gregoire (Michelle) of Belchertown, MA and Todd Ely of Monson, MA; grandchildren, Scott Laviolette, Dustin Gregoire, Melissa Ely, Dwight Gregoire, Jonathan Ely and Cody Laviolette; great-grandchildren, Noah and Sofia; sisters, Jeanne Rymarski of Brimfield, MA and Rachel Majka of Belchertown, MA; brother, Victor Gregoire (Clare) of Dayville, CT.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to Pauls Chapel Evangelical and Reformed Church, 2791 West Center Street Ext. Lexington, NC 27295 or to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292.
