Notie Faye Howard Huneycutt age 80 passed away Wednesday morning, April 25th at her home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church where she was a member. Rev. Paul Huneycutt and Rev. Michael Gates will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, April 27th at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the home.
Faye was born in Detroit, MI on August 26, 1931 to Greene Berry Howard and Viola Carter Howard. She was co-owner of Textures Gallery. She was a member of her church choir, Winston-Salem Bead Society and The Heart Circle Group. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her husband Willis “Bill” H. Huneycutt of the home; two sons, Willis “Billy” Huneycutt, Jr. and wife Kelley of Clemmons and Daniel “Danny” Huneycutt and wife Danna of Lexington; one daughter, Julie Huneycutt Knabb and husband Harry of Winston-Salem; three sisters, Gertrude Kareus of Detroit, MI, Dorothy Irving of Sun City, AZ, Maxine Pieschki and husband Wally of Traverse City, MI; seven grandchildren, Angel Huneycutt, Jeff Knabb, Kimberly Jackson, Paul Huneycutt, Brook Huneycutt, Molly Corl, Zachary Huneycutt; nine great-grandchildren, Luca Dean, Macy Corl, Rylie Huneycutt, Carson Corl, Hudson Huneycutt, Lillian Knabb, Peighton Jackson, Solomon Wilson and Alaina Huneycutt.
