Odell Andrew Hedrick, 73, Jerusalem Rd., Lexington, died Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Bethany United Methodist Church where he was a member by Dr. Charles L. Hutchens. Burial will follow at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hedrick was born January 5, 1933 in Davidson County to Thurman Lee Hedrick, Sr. and Letha Beck Hedrick. He was a self-employed contractor, a member of Central Lions Club, and served in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Harold Hedrick; Paul Hedrick; T.L. Hedrick, and Hoyle Hedrick. Surviving are his wife, Josephine Morgan Hedrick of the home; a son, Andy Hedrick and, wife, Cathy of Fuquay-Varina; his daughters, Amy Tysinger and, husband, Blaine of Lexington; Sandra Hedrick of Raleigh and Letha Cucci and, husband, Pat of Winter Springs, Florida; a daughter in law, Sharon Hedrick of Lexington; his grandchildren, Brian Hedrick and, wife, Kim; Sam Hedrick and, wife, Shauna; Patrick Cucci; Vinny Cucci; Morgan Tysinger; Matt Tysinger, and Leigh Strickland and, husband Bryan; his great granchildren: Nicholas, Daisy, Nathan and Drew; his brothers, Dwight L. Hedrick and C.J. Hedrick both of Lexington and a sister, Helen Wilson of Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday at Bethany United Methodist Church and at other times at the home.
