Odell Craver

William Odell Craver, age 87 of Britthaven of Davidson, formerly of Star Drive, Lexington passed away Thursday morning at Britthaven. Funeral service will be held 11:00 Monday (6-22-2009) at Second Reformed United Church of Christ with Rev. Joe D. Coltrane officiating and burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Odell was born in Davidson County, January 27, 1922 to Arthur Julian Craver and Addie Mae Hill Craver. He was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ, a former member of the consistory and served as an usher for many years. He was a retired employee of Burlington House Furniture United Plant He was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Barker Craver in 2006, son, Charles Ray Craver in 2008 and a brother Clarence Craver. Surviving are; one daughter, Deborah Curtis of Lexington; one son, Roger Odell Craver and wife Tina of Lexington; three grandchildren, Wesley Craver and wife Margaret, Tiffany Crouch and husband Shawn and Holly Walser; two great-grandchildren, Amber and Carly Crouch; one sister, Lena Mae Hedrick of Lexington and sister in law, Minnie W. Craver of Lexington. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday and at other times at the home of son, Roger Craver, 606 Wood Heirs Drive, Lexington.
