Odell Mock Smith

Odell Mock Smith, 86, of Fritts Road in Lexington, passed away Thursday November 7, 2024 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Monday November 11, 2024 at Sandy Creek Cemetery with Pastor Henry Waterson officiating services.

There will be no formal visitation

Mr. Smith was born January 29, 1938 in Davidson County to Richard Odell Smith and  Addie Mae Michael Smith. Odell was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Shuford Smith; and a sister, Carolyn Smith.

Surviving are one son, Dale Smith of Lexington; a daughter, Angie Spivey of Lexington; two brothers, Franklin Smith and Harold Smith, both of Lexington; three sisters, Mary Etta Hanes of Lexington, Shirley Lanier of Advance, and Glenda Smith of Lexington; 1 grandson, Hunter Dale Smith; and 1 great-grandson Hayden Boone Smith.
