Olin Julius Leonard

Olin Julius Leonard, 88, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at Lexington Healthcare.

A service to honor Mr. Leonard will be forthcoming. 

Born on January 1, 1938, in Davidson County, North Carolina, Olin was the son of the late Julius Paul Leonard and Lula Mae Morrison Leonard. He dedicated many years of his career as a fabricator with Proctor Schwartz before his retirement.

Olin will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Peggy Elizabeth Neal Leonard; his son, Neal Leonard and wife, Cathy; his daughters, Wanda Rogers and Malinda Leonard (Craig); eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, Olin was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Charlee Lineberry, and his sisters, Louise Odom and Dorothy Everhart.

Anyone who knew Olin, knew of his unwavering commitment and dedication to serving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The family appreciates the care and compassion shown to Olin throughout his life and during his time at Lexington Healthcare.
