Ollie Bell Hannah

Ollie Bell Woody Hannah, 85, of Lexington passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Ollie was born in Cobb County, TN on October 22, 1937, to Jimmy Lawson Woody and Bertha Banks Woody. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of 43 years, Roger Lee Rethford; her daughter, Peggy Jo Hannah; her brothers, Amon, Wilkes, Crawford, JC, AL, and Tom Woody; her sisters, Barbara Dean Hannah, and Lottie Ensley; and a brother-in-law, Aaron George.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Charles Willard Hannah, and Paul Nathan Hannah (Sharon); a brother, Robert Lee Woody (Judith); a sister, Patricia Hannah (George); her grandchildren, Renee Hannah, Crystal Hannah, Joshua Hannah, Paul Rethford, Ty Hannah, and Kimberly Hannah; ten great-grandbabies that she loved dearly; and a host of nieces and nephews.
