Ollie Mae Wilson

Ollie Mae Koontz Wilson, 88, a resident of Salisbury Gardens, Salisbury, NC and formerly of Queen Road, Linwood, died early Saturday morning at Salisbury Gardens. There will be a graveside service held at 2:00 P.M. Monday June 24 at Forest Hill Memorial Park by Rev. Ray N. Howell IV. The family will receive friends 12:00 to 1:30 P.M. on Monday before the service at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilson was born in China Grove on Dec 1, 1924, the daughter of Wade Columbus Koontz and Viola Parrish Koontz. She was retired from Burlington Industries, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Holland Wilson, son Robert Cornell Wilson and sister, Margaret Jane Rimer. She is survived by son, Edward Holland Wilson Jr. of Morganton, NC; sister, Kathleen Dennis; three grandchildren, Robert Wilson, Joann Fatehnia and Kim Jones; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice agency of choice.
