O'Neil Owen

Dwight O’Neil Owen, age 72 of Floyd Church Road, Lexington passed away Saturday morning at Hinkle Hospice House. The family will receive friends at the fellowship hall of Holloways Baptist Church from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday. Burial will be private. O’Neil was born in Davidson County, March 18, 1941 to George Franklin and Frankie Jane Wall Owen. He was retired from Orkin Pest Control after 32 years of service and a member of Holloways Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Harris Owen of the home; daughter, Amy Lynn Owen of Lexington; son, Jeffrey Neil Owen of Lexington; sister, Nancy Darr of Lexington. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to Hospice of Davidson, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
