Ophelia Marusak Walker

Sadie Ophelia Walker, 80, of Lexington went to her life eternal on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at her residence.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Walker was born on June 20, 1940 in Selma, NC. She was a retired seamstress and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston Eason and Mildred Rollins; her stepfather, Edward Marusak; brothers, Louis Marusak and Lawrence Marusak; half-brother, Jimmy Eason; and a half-sister, Jackie Eason Murray.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Roscoe Walker, Sr.; her children, Joyce O’Neill (Brian), Pam Musgrave (Richie), Roscoe Walker, Jr. (Monica), and Julie Beasley (Dwayne); her sister, Sandra Sorrells of Augusta, GA; and brothers, Joseph Marusak (Kathy) of Hamptonville; and Greg Marusak (Marie) of Statesville her grandchildren, Amanda, Logan, Joey, Jason (Meredith), Jessica (Robert Lambeth, Jr.), Jonathan, and Hillary (Adam Amende); her great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Haylee, Trey, Gabriel, Bryson, Rylee Ophelia, and Sadie; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Becks Lutheran Church at 441 Becks Church Road, Lexington, NC 27292 or to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
