Oran “Wes” Dowd age 70 of Clemmons died Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center with both his children by his side.
A family and friends celebration of his life will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, May 6, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, NC.
Wes was born November 12, 1951, in Lee County to James Edward Dowd and Aggie Wallace Dowd. Oran is preceded in death by his parents, brother James Dowd, sister Annie Mae Pittman.
He is survived by his son; Wesley Davis Dowd, daughter Jobie Sulynne Dowd, brother Mike Dowd, sisters Becky Fore, Gail Worrell and one grandson, Trent Davis Dowd.
