Otho Lee Stroud

Otho Lee “PeeWee” Stroud, 86, of Olivia Drive, died Friday, December 12 after an illness of one year. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, December 17 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Stroud was born September 18, 1928 in Davie County to Robert D. and Mattie Stroud. He retired from Su Ann Trucking and was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Rachel Palmer Stroud, and his brother, Marvin . He is survived by his wife, Colleen Christofferson Stroud, of the home; his daughters, Linda Taylor and husband, Larry, and Angie Cline, both of Glendale Springs, and Cheryl Ann Stroud, and Rhonda Stroud Robinson and husband, Tim, both of Lexington; his sisters, Mildred Severt and Libby Johnson, both of Statesville, and Naomi Sloan and husband, Don of Winston Salem; and seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren.
