Otis Ray Walser

Otis Ray Walser, 91, of Davidson County, passed away on September 20, 2026. He was born on June 18, 1935, in Davidson County to the late Cliff L. Walser and Sadie Berrier Walser.

Otis was dedicated worker, as he retired from Allied Tool Machine Company in Kernersville after 40 years. He was also a talented craftsman who took great pride in his woodwork. He was known for making wood stoves and trailers to sell to others, creating things that reflected his skill as a Jack of All Trades.

Outside of his work, Otis found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He treasured time spent at his vacation home in Virginia and enjoyed soaking up the sunshine at the beach. He especially looked forward to Tuesday family dinners, where he would prepare meals using vegetables from his garden, including tomatoes, squash, onions, potatoes, and more. Otis was also well known for his love of ice cream and could always enjoy a sweet treat.

In addition to his parents, Otis was preceded in death by his brothers, J.C. Walser and William D. Walser; and his sister, Johnsie Myers.

Left to cherish his memory are his two beloved daughters, Kelly Brumfield (Alan) and Tracie Snyder (Jeff); his granddaughter, Sydney Cauble (Cory); his sister-in-law, Vivian Walser, wife of the late William D. Walser; and his special friend, James Martin.

Otis will be remembered for his hardworking hands, his love of family, his generous spirit, and the many memories he created through the things he loved most.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home of Lexington.
