Pamela Shoaf Hodge, 73, of Davidson County, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
Born on June 6, 1953, in Lexington, North Carolina, Pamela was the daughter of the late Bobby Stevens Shoaf and Geraldine Hedrick Shoaf.
Pamela will be remembered for her deep love and devotion to her family, especially her cherished granddaughter, Rylee Hodge, who she loved unconditionally. She was very creative and found enjoyment in crafting beautiful, beaded jewelry. Pamela also loved traveling throughout North Carolina, whether enjoying the peaceful beaches or the scenic beauty of the mountains. An exceptional baker, she was well known amongst her family for her collection of cake molds, always creating special cakes to celebrate many occasions. Her kindness, creativity, and the love she shared with those around her will be treasured by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis Wayne Hodge, who passed away on September 4, 1999.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jarrod Hodge and wife, Maria; her adored granddaughter, Rylee Hodge; her brother, Bobby Dean Shoaf and wife, Cathy; and her partner of 20 years, Eddie Franklin McBride.
A graveside service for Pamela will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with Pastor Foster Carney officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alderwood Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
