Pamela Koontz

Pamela Dale Robertson Koontz, 61, of N. NC Highway 150, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.   A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Reeds Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Henry Watterson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.   Mrs. Koontz was born September 9, 1955, in Rowan County. She was raised by her loving parents, George Henry Robertson and Kay Robertson. Mrs. Koontz was a true giver and so freely gave her love to her family and many others within the community. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Cassidy.   Surviving are her loving husband of 43 years, Roger Scott Koontz of the home; three loving daughters, Sabrina Koontz Beck (Brent) of Lexington, Shauna Koontz Cain (Grant) of Warner Robins, GA, and Wendy Koontz Sheets (Stephen) of Lexington; grandchildren, Zach, Bryce, Colson, Ethan, Caleb, Logan, and Samuel; brother, Michael Robertson of Clemmons; sister, Gail Leonard (Wayne) of Lexington; and a host of nieces and nephews.
