Pam Couch Myers, 48, of W. US Highway 64, Lexington, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, her dad and her sister, Cathy Diane Couch, Tuesday at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel by the Revs. Frankie Matthews and Jimmy Myers. Entombment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Myers was born in Forsyth County on January 25, 1959, to Roscoe Roan Couch and Thelma Laird Couch. She was a 1977 graduate of North Davidson High School and a graduate of Gardner Webb University. She was a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. She taught home bound children in Davidson County grades k-12. She started the Alternative program for teenage parents at Davidson County Community College. She was the beloved nanny for the Suszynsky family.
Surviving are her husband, Jay Frank Myers of the home; her mother of the home; brothers, Roscoe Couch and wife Gail of Marion, Timothy Couch Sr. of Lexington, and Andrew Couch of Clayton; and sisters, Marcia Atkins and husband, Ronald of Wallburg; nephews, Timothy Couch Jr. ( Staci), of Clayton, Brian Couch of Lexington, Spencer Couch of Raleigh and Jeffrey Atkins (Annie) of Webster; great-nieces, Alannah Couch, Leah Couch both of Clayton; and great nephew, Addison Atkins of Webster, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
