Pamelia Odom Huggins

Pamelia Odom Huggins, age 71 of Cedar Drive, Lexington passed away Thursday morning (October 22, 2009) at Alston Brook Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday (October 24, 2009) at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, with Rev. John Harmon and Rev. Brian Workman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Pamelia was born May 10, 1938 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina to Lawrance Odom and Ruth Campbell Odom. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Monroe Huggins, Jr. Surviving are: one daughter, Donna Huggins Manus and husband Kenneth of Lexington; one son, Sandy Huggins of Lexington; one grandson, Brandon Wayne Manus and wife Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Taylor Manus; one step-grandchild, Caiden Hill; three sisters, Vena McLain and Lena Mae Tolson both of Patrick, SC and Peggy Jenkins of Chesterfield, SC. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel Friday night from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, and at other times at the home of her son Sandy.
