Pansy Trantham

Pansy Mae Reid Trantham passed away on October 4, 2024, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, October 8 at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Trantham was born March 26, 1929 in Davidson County to Geroge Henry Reid and Ethel Mae Shoaf Reid.  She was a devoted homemaker and a former member of St. Andrews United Church of Christ. Pansy was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Rayford Trantham; her brothers, Paul Reid, John Reid and Lester Reid; and her sisters, Rachel Turner, Kathryn Forrest and Georgia Myers.

She is survived by her son, George E. "Hank" Trantham and wife, Judith, of Lexington; and her sister, Christine Darnell of Lexington.
