Pansy Ann Weavil Wooten

Pansy Ann Weavil Wooten, 72, of Choyce Street, died Friday, January 27, 2012, at Hinkle Hospice House. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Hepler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son. Mrs. Wooten was born December 5, 1939, in Davidson County to Luther Thomas Weavil and Loretta Warren Wooten. She was a member of Leonard Road Baptist Church and formerly employed at Parkdale Mills as a winder operator. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wooten who died in 2005. Surviving are son, Reggie Wooten and wife, Geri, of Linwood; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew Weavil of Lexington; and sister, Ethel Jarvis of Lexington.
