Patricia Diane Pickrel

Patricia Diane Pickrel, 63, of Tussey Road, died Sunday, May 11, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home by the Rev. D.R. Johnson. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Pickrel was born September 10, 1944, in Davidson County, to William “Bill” Franklin Jarrett and Mildred Sarah Smith Jarrett. She was a former employee of National Wholesale and a member of Lighthouse Gospel Tabernacle Church. She was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy Jarrett, Roger Jarrett, James Jarrett and Richard Jarrett. Also surviving are her husband, Charles Harold Pickrel of the home; a son, Shane Pickrel and wife, Sarah, of Franklinton; a daughter, Donna Piner and husband, David, of Lexington; three grandchildren, Bridget Piner, Cody Piner, and Davin Pickrel; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Dallas; three brothers, Terry Jarrett and wife, Judy, of Lexington, Bill Jarrett and wife, Wanda, and Don Jarrett and wife, Diane, all of Thomasville; and a sister, Brenda Combs and husband, Paul, of Thomasville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
