Patricia Ann Mills Fine, 85, of Davidson County, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026, in Davidson County.
Born on January 24, 1941, in Davidson County, Patricia was the daughter of the late James Logan Mills and Lillian Liza Weaver Mills. A woman of deep faith and compassion, Patricia was devoted to her Lord and Savior and faithfully served as an active member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ in Lexington. She was also a dedicated member of the church’s Lydia Circle, where she cherished fellowship and service to others.
Patricia’s greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured every moment spent with them and never missed an opportunity to remind them how deeply they were loved. Known for her kind and generous spirit, Patricia would gladly give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. Her warmth, selflessness, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.
In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed cheering on the Atlanta Braves, watching classic Western movies, and spending hours working word search puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Mills; her sisters, Martha Medlin and Sharon Kindley; and her dear brother-in-law, Ken Medlin.
Left to cherish her memory are her nieces, Cathy Forbes (Greg), Terri Sosebee (Mark), and Leisha Leach; her nephews, Randy Medlin (Debbie) and Jeff Glover; along with many beloved great-nieces and great-nephews. Patricia also held a very special place in her heart for Mark and Greg, whom she lovingly considered as her own nephews rather than in-laws.
A funeral service celebrating Patricia’s life will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Davidson County, and Pine Acres Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation and for their compassionate care and professionalism given to Patricia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292, or to Second Reformed United Church of Christ, 330 N. Church St. Lexington, NC 27292.
