Patricia Hamm

Patricia Rhynne Ervin Hamm, 73, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem.

A private graveside service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Welcome Cemetery.

Mrs. Hamm was born in Iredell County on January 9, 1947 to Willis Lee Ervin, Sr. and Celeste Mayhew Kernoodle. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Welcome and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Willis Lee Ervin, Jr.; and a sister, Sherry Shumake.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Winifred “Doug” Douglas Hamm of the home; her two daughters, Toni Moorefield of Lexington and Tiffney Renee Jones (Drake) of Reidsville; a brother, Gary Barnette of Lexington; and four grandchildren, Dustin Johnson, Dylon Johnson, Zachery Jones, and Carson Moorefield.
