Patricia "Mawmaw" Fortenberry Everhart

Patricia “Mawmaw” Fortenberry Everhart, 76, of Lexington, passed away January 22, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Lexington.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Tyro United Methodist Church Where she was a member, with the Rev. Randy Foster officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church fellowship hall, and other times at the home of the son Danny Everhart 503 Indian Wells Circle, Lexington.

Mawmaw was born November 9, 1945, in Davidson County, to Kenneth Franklin Fortenberry and Louise Mauney Miller. She was a devoted member of the church and her church family. She had worked for Manhattan Shirt Company and was a homemaker. Her passion was her faith, church, family and especially her grandchildren. Mawmaw was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers, Tony Fortenberry and Ronnie Kiger.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Tommy Lester Hollis Everhart Jr. of the home, three sons, Ricky Karl Everhart (Lisa), Danny Wayne Everhart (Missy), Michael Eugene Everhart (Misty) all of Lexington; also surviving are her grandchildren, Kristi, Keri, Tommy, Carly, Chandler Everhart and Jessica Everhart Shepherd (Harry), brother, Johnny Miller (Lisa), and sister-in-law, Rhonda Fortenberry.
