Patricia Headley McNew

Patricia Alice (Headley) McNew, 82, of Lexington, passed away, Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem after a period of declining health.

Born on June 14, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry Headley and the late Frances Kelley Headley Kolstrom. Patricia was a hard worker and spent many years working in manufacturing. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Earl McNew.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, David Thurston (Donna); daughter, Sharon Thurston; brothers, Eric Kolstrom and Kelly Kolstrom; sister, Linda Headley; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Patricia will lie in repose from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 30, 2026, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.
