Patricia Louise Murphy

Patricia Russell Murphy, 78 of Lexington, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A visitation with family will be held Tuesday, June 8 ^th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Patricia was born on April 25, 1943 in Davidson County to Hubert Lindsay Russell and Ella Mae Steed Russell.  She retired after 35 years as office manager for Davidson Surgical Associations in Thomasville.  Patricia attended Unity United Methodist Church in Thomasville and was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Yandle.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, David Murphy, of the home; son, Marty Ferrell and wife Marty of Sunset Beach; stepson Shawn Murphy and wife Lisa of Kill Devil Hills; daughter Stacy Greenlee and husband David of Thomasville; stepdaughters Tina Crew and husband Jerry and Sheila Murphy Taylor, both of Kernersville; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
