Patricia (Pat) Patterson Hodges

Patricia (Pat) Patterson Hodges, age, 80 transitioned to her Heavenly home Thursday afternoon at Brookstone Retirement Center after a period of declining health.

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. David Robinson officiating. A burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Family will see friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.

Pat was born December 20, 1943, in Darlington, SC to Howard Leon Patterson and Mable Thames Patterson. She was a legal assistant with Robert Smith Jr. for 32 years and upon his retirement, she worked and retired from Brinkley Walser Attorney.

She was one of most loving, compassionate and giving souls to all who knew her.

She loved her family and loved spending time with her beloved husband Maurice (Pop) Hodges until his death on June 18, 2023. In addition to (Pop), she was preceded in death by her parents, brother Howard Leon Patterson Jr. and sister Linda Horton.

She leaves behind a son Maurice (Mo-Jo) Hodges III and wife Angie of Lexington; two daughters, Cynthia (Cindy) Hedrick and husband Skip Yeager of Georgetown SC and Catherine (Cathy) Kinney of Lexington; grandchildren, Ashley Hedrick and husband Tom Schneller, Matthew Kinney and Lauryn Kinney and fiancée Kaleb, Dustin Hodges and wife Falon, Dylan Hodges and Sierra Hodges; great-grandchildren, Emma, James, and John Schneller and her sister, Nancy Williams.
