Patricia "Patsy" Albright Craver Mcbride

Patricia (Patsy) Albright Craver McBride passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born March 19, 1946 to George Willis Albright and Dorothy Snider Albright. She is preceded in death by her parents and infant brother Jerry Thomas Albright. She graduated in 1964 from West Davidson High School and in 1968 from UNC-Greensboro with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education. In 1968 and 1969 – she was Music Director and House Manager for Kermit Hunter’s outdoor drama “Walk Toward the Sunset” in Sneedville, TN. She Played the organ and piano for various churches in Alabama, Georgia, Hawaii, Tennessee and North Carolina. Most recently for Churchland Baptist Church in Lexington, NC and Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith in Faith, NC where she was also the Shiloh Ringers Handbell Ensemble Director. She loved to crochet and made 600 crocheted snowflakes for Christmas cards every year. She was also known for her crocheted Angels. She is survived by her husband Jesse F. McBride Jr and the father of her children Joe Craver, her daughter Laura (Tim) Jernigan of Hopkinsville, KY, her son Alan (Channa) Craver of La Marque, TX, her stepson Chip (Allison) McBride of Waldorf, MD and her stepdaughter Tammy (Saul) Forrest of Lexington, NC. Her grandchildren include Elizabeth, Abigail and Timothy Jernigan, Madyson Craver and step-grandchildren Zack Dunn, Lena McBride, Cole, Clay, and Cyla Patterson, and Carly Stockstill. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 30th at the C.H. Snider Cemetery on Simmerson Road in Lexington, NC. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are required. Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers to Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith, PO Box 308, Faith, NC 28041, designated to the Music Ministry or Good Samaritan Fund or to Hospice of Davidson County – 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292 or online at www.hospiceofdavidson.org.
